Baylor Dance Company is a co-ed dance team at Baylor University; it provides a semi-professional dance atmosphere with focuses in contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and modern styles of dance. Since its establishment, the team has thrived, and it continues to grow. The team practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm - 8pm and performs in Baylor events, the Waco community, our annual Spring Showcase, and the American Dance/Drill Team Collegiate Nationals competition in Denton, Texas. Baylor Dance Company constantly seeks to help its members grow as creative artists while succeeding in all aspects of college and life experiences.

BDC is a part of the Dance minor program. While we do not require our members to minor in Dance, we strongly encourage that they do so, as it is a great opportunity to develop as a dancer and support the program. 

 

Auditions for Baylor Dance Company are held in the beginning of the fall semester.
